FlipSend moves files and text between your Android phone, your Windows PC, and this web page.

No data collected

FlipSend does not collect personal data. There is no account. There are no ads and no analytics.

Files stay end-to-end encrypted

Files and text are end-to-end encrypted between your devices. When a transfer uses the relay, the relay sees ciphertext only. It does not have the keys and it does not read the files.

Purchase token

A purchase token is sent to our relay only to verify the plan with Google. That check sets the monthly relay allowance for the plan. The token is not used for ads or analytics, and it is not sold.

On your devices

Same-Wi-Fi transfers stay on the local network. FlipSend still tries a VPN-assigned address, so a VPN does not have to be turned off. Pairing keys are the only data encrypted at rest. Received files are ordinary files in the folder you choose. An update that arrives from the paired PC can be installed on the phone when that setting is left on. FlipSend does not remove apps by itself. A Terminal command uses the same encrypted connection. The PC keeps a local log of commands it was asked to run. That log is not uploaded.
